Business Express

Using Hawaii’s business express website, you can register your business with the state. Cost is $47.50 (which saves you $22.50 for doing it online). It’s actually pretty easy. Here’s what you do:

1. The first thing you’ll need to do is create an account.
2. Next, login to the account you just created.
3. Once logged in, use the multi-agency business wizard.
4. From here, just follow the instructions.

That’s it. You can request a trade name while signing your business up. But I suggest searching for a business trade name online.
